WHY NEEM WOOD
Plastic combs generate static. They snap hair, rough up the
cuticle, and end up in a landfill in eighteen months.
Neem is different. The wood is dense enough to hold a fine edge
but soft enough that it never scratches the scalp. It carries its
own oils, so it stays conditioned rather than drying out. In India,
neem has been part of daily hair and skin care for generations —
long enough that nobody there thinks of it as an alternative.
We don't carve these ourselves. They're made by artisans in India
who have been working neem for a long time, and we'd rather buy
from them than manufacture a story.
